Registered Care Manager – Domiciliary Care
Location: Bromley & Lewisham, South East London
Salary: £38,000 per annum (annual increases + performance-based bonuses)
Hours: Full-Time (9:00am – 6:00pm, on-call rota)

We are recruiting a Registered Care Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of an established domiciliary care service covering Bromley and Lewisham. The service delivers approximately 1,400 care hours per week across a team of 50 staff, supporting adults aged 18+ through to elderly clients including those with dementia, learning disabilities, and those discharged from hospital. This is a frontline leadership role working alongside a senior director focused on business development and contract growth.
The Role
- Take day-to-day operational responsibility for the domiciliary care service
- Lead and manage a team of 50 staff including office manager and care coordinator
- Ensure full CQC compliance, policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Oversee audits, care planning, safeguarding, and documentation
- Manage on-call duties as part of a shared rota
- Support growth of the private client base alongside existing local authority contracts
- Maintain strong relationships with local authority commissioners
- Deliver frontline operational management while senior leadership focuses on bidding and business development
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager within domiciliary care — essential
- Strong working knowledge of CQC compliance, policies, and procedures — essential
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care — essential
- Full UK driving licence — essential
- Disciplined, knowledgeable, and confident managing a busy operational service
