Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a hardworking and dependable Multi-Skilled Labourer to join our expanding team.
This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work across a wide range of properties, supporting experienced operatives while carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and property improvement works.
The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day maintenance activities and ensuring our clients' properties are maintained to the highest standards.
Your duties will include:
- Assisting with planned and reactive property maintenance.
- Carrying out general labouring and handyman duties.
- Supporting qualified tradespeople on maintenance and refurbishment projects.
- Completing minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks where competent.
- Loading, unloading, and transporting materials, equipment, and tools.
- Preparing work areas before and after maintenance activities.
- Maintaining clean, safe, and organised working environments.
- Assisting with external maintenance of communal areas, commercial premises, housing developments, and retail sites.
- Reporting defects or additional works identified during visits.
- Following all company Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or a similar hands-on environment and be confident carrying out a variety of practical tasks.
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- General property maintenance
- Basic carpentry and joinery
- Painting and decorating
- Minor plumbing repairs
- Basic patch repairs
- Silicone application and finishing
- Fencing, external maintenance, and grounds works
- General handyman duties
- Safe use of hand and power tools
You will also be:
- Reliable and punctual.
- Hardworking with a positive attitude.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Well organised with good attention to detail.
- Professional when interacting with clients and members of the public.
- Willing to learn and develop new skills.
A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
