FullyJob Title: Delivery Driver
MBL is recruiting Delivery Drivers to join our delivery team in Hull. This role is available for an immediate start.
No previous delivery experience is required. Full paid training is provided before you start work.
This role is carried out on a self-employed, independent contractor basis.
Duties and responsibilities
As a Delivery Driver, your duties will include:
- Loading your vehicle with pre-sorted parcels.
- Delivering parcels safely and efficiently.
- Using a handheld device for navigation and delivery scanning.
- Following road safety rules and delivery procedures.
- Providing a reliable and professional delivery service.
- Handling parcels weighing up to 23kg safely.
- Walking and using stairs throughout the working day.
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be aged 21 or over due to insurance requirements.
- Hold a full UK driving licence for at least 2 years.
- Have no more than 6 penalty points.
- Have no IN10 or DR10 endorsements.
- Be able to handle parcels weighing up to 23kg safely.
- Be comfortable walking and using stairs throughout the day.
- Be willing to complete a DBS check.
- Be reliable, punctual and professional.
Pay and hours
Pay starts from £160 per day.
Paid mileage allowance is provided.
This is a self-employed, independent contractor role.
Working days and hours are: Mon-sun
Inductions are available throughout the week.
