Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Furniture Packer to join our clients dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently packing, loading, and preparing furniture items for shipment while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Your energetic approach will help streamline the packing processes, maintain accurate inventory, and support timely deliveries.
Hours
Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4pm
Friday - 7am -2pm
Responsibilities
- Carefully handle and pack furniture items using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit
- Load and unload furniture
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, shipments, and stock movements
- Prepare shipments by selecting suitable packaging materials, labeling packages accurately, and verifying order details
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure all packed items meet company standards before dispatch
- Assist with stock replenishment by stocking shelves and organizing storage areas efficiently
- Collaborate with shipping & receiving teams to coordinate timely pickup and delivery of goods
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, materials handling, or furniture packing preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, load & unload tasks, and extended periods of standing or walking
- Attention to detail for quality control, labeling accuracy, and inventory management
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
