Overview
This post is ideal for someone new to the trades who is keen to learn but also has a good basic knowledge of carpentry and plumbing. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of construction and maintenance projects. We specifically need someone who is capable in basic joinery and basic plumbing.
Responsibilities
- Carry out basic carpentry tasks.
- Carry out basic plumbing task.
- Undertake painting to meet project specifications.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete assigned tasks
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in all of the following trades: carpentry, painting, plumbing & basic general maintenance.
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to trade activities
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ability to work independently & be versatile in the site environment.
- Good physical fitness with the capacity to perform manual labour for extended periods
- Relevant certifications or qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory if extensive experience is demonstrated
- A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential depending on project requirements.
