Based at an award winning wedding venue in Usk, Monmouthshire, we are seeking a dedicated part time cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the property with a Manor House and a newly built reception venue and the occasional help across 9 holiday cottages. We also have a 13 room hotel 1 mile away and work here may be required from time to time.
Previous and recent experience is ESSENTIAL. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and reliability are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including kitchens, floors and surfaces.
- Ensure restrooms are hygienic and well-stocked with supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of communal spaces.
- Dispose of waste appropriately.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold a safe working environment
Essential Experience
- Prior recent experience in a professional setting is essential
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as efficiently within a team environment
