Top Requirements (Essential)
- Senior Complex Care Experience: Proven leadership in a care setting with hands-on experience supporting Learning Disabilities, Challenging Behaviours, PEG Feeding, and Epilepsy.
- Operational & CQC Knowledge: Strong rota management skills and a deep understanding of CQC compliance and safeguarding.
- Flexibility: Willingness to participate in an on-call rota (evenings/weekends) and provide rare emergency shift cover.
- Mobility: Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
The Role
Join our expanding team to deliver high-quality, person-centered care to adults and children with complex needs. You will supervise our workforce, manage daily operations, and ensure safe, compliant care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Staff & Rota Management: Coordinate safe staffing levels, manage rotas, monitor live calls, and resolve staffing gaps quickly.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and induct care staff while acting as the main escalation point for the office team.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure all care aligns with CQC regulations, safeguarding protocols, and individual care plans. Assist with regular audits.
- Care Coordination: Set up new care packages and collaborate with families, social workers, and multi-disciplinary teams (MDT).
- 24/7 Continuity: Support the team during unexpected challenges to guarantee uninterrupted service delivery.
