Stryx Play Gallery Café

Stryx Play Gallery Café is seeking a PR & Marketing Assistant volunteer to help amplify our voice, strengthen our public presence, and promote our events, exhibitions, and café offerings.
This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on PR and marketing experience within a vibrant, community-driven arts space, while contributing to a meaningful cultural organisation.
Time Commitment
Minimum 6 hours per week for at least 3 months
Available Wednesdays–Fridays, 10:30 am–3:30 pm

What You’ll Be Involved In
As a PR & Marketing Assistant, you will:
- Assist in developing and delivering PR and marketing campaigns to promote exhibitions, events, and café activities
- Help draft press releases, media pitches, and promotional copy
- Support social media management, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement
- Assist with email newsletters, website updates, and online communications
- Help build and maintain relationships with local media, creatives, and community partners
- Conduct audience and media research to identify new outreach opportunities
- Track media coverage and support reporting on campaign performance
- Collaborate closely with the Stryx team to enhance brand visibility and community engagement
