Job Summary:

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering a safe, stimulating, and caring environment where children can learn and thrive. You will work as part of a team to plan and implement fun and educational activities, tailored to each child’s individual needs and interests.
Duties:
- Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
- Observe, assess, and plan stimulating activities that meet individual learning needs
- Provide a safe and secure environment for children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met
- Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and other professionals
- Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all children at all times
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development
- Support and mentor junior staff, apprentices, and students when required
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and organize events, outings, and special projects
- Work collaboratively within a team
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress, attendance, and any incidents or accidents that occur
- Promote positive behaviour management techniques, encouraging children to develop self-discipline and respect for others
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, health and safety regulations, and safeguarding guidelines
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
- Previous experience of at least 1 year working with young children
- Passion for working with children and supporting their holistic development
