Summary
We are seeking a skilled Timber Pattern/Mould Maker to join our dedicated timber workshop. This role is vital in creating precise patterns and moulds that ensure the quality and durability of our products. If you have a passion for craftsmanship and technical expertise, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret technical drawings, templates and specifications to manufacture accurate timber patterns, moulds and associated components.
- Set up and operate woodworking machinery and hand tools to produce moulds, formers, jigs and bespoke timber parts to a high standard.
- Carry out marking out, shaping, assembly and finishing of moulds and patterns, ensuring dimensional accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain a safe, organised working area and support continuous improvement in manufacturing methods and tooling.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in pattern making, mould making, bench joinery or a similar timber manufacturing role.
- A strong background in woodworking, including marking out, shaping and assembling complex timber components.
- A full understanding of how to set up and safely use woodworking machinery, power tools and hand tools to achieve accurate, repeatable results.
- The ability to read and work from technical drawings, dimensions and templates with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
