Allstar Community Academy is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and caring Club Manager to lead our Breakfast and After School Club at Little Waltham Primary School.
Our club is based in the School House, attached to the school, caring for a maximum of 24 children aged 4–11 years.
Unlike many childcare settings, this role offers an excellent work-life balance with no weekends, no evenings after 6pm and no school holiday working.
What we offer
✔ £14.50–£15.50 per hour (depending on experience)

About the role
This isn't just another childcare job.
You'll be trusted to lead your own club and create a safe, fun and welcoming environment where children genuinely enjoy spending time before and after school.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading the day-to-day running of the club
- Planning exciting activities, games and crafts
- Supporting children's wellbeing and development
- Building excellent relationships with children, parents and school staff
- Supervising and supporting your team
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and behaviour
- Ensuring the club meets Ofsted requirements
We're looking for someone who

✔ Has previous childcare experience
✔ Is confident leading a small team
✔ Is organised, reliable and enthusiastic
✔ Can use their own initiative
✔ Has excellent communication skills
✔ Wants to be part of a friendly, growing organisation
Essential
Applicants MUST hold a FULL and RELEVANT Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification recognised by the Department for Education.
Unfortunately we cannot consider applicants who do not hold a recognised childcare qualification as this role forms part of our Ofsted staffing requirements.
Applicants must also:
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check
- Provide satisfactory references
