Responsibilities:
12 hrs per week over 2 set days 8 am - 2 pm working set days : Thursday and Friday as a Kitchen assistant role supporting the permanent cooks with daily duties such as but not exclusively :
- Washing dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils using industrial dishwashers or by hand as required.
- Keeping the kitchen and work areas clean and sanitary at all times, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and emptying trash bins.
- Assisting with the receiving and storage of deliveries, including unpacking and storing supplies in designated areas.
- Assisting chefs and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed, such as fetching ingredients or equipment.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment.
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy periods and special events as needed.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices would be an advantage
