We're looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Operative to join our Operations team on a permanent basis.
You'll be responsible for the initial handling of incoming trade-ins and deliveries, preparing items for quality checking and making sure everything reaches the right department efficiently.
The role involves a wide variety of technology, including smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, games consoles, computers, laptops, audio equipment and accessories.
Full training will be provided, so previous experience in the technology industry isn't required.
The Role
You'll be one of the first people to handle products when they arrive at The iOutlet.
Your main responsibility will be managing the goods-in process. This will involve receiving parcels, opening and sorting their contents, identifying individual items and entering them into our bespoke stock management system.
Once logged, you'll organise and allocate products to the appropriate department for quality checking, testing, repair or further processing.
The position is well suited to someone who enjoys practical work, stays organised and takes pride in getting things right first time.
Key Responsibilities
Goods-In
- Receive customer trade-ins and incoming deliveries.
- Open parcels and sort their contents safely.
- Identify products and match items against the relevant information.
- Enter new arrivals into our bespoke stock management system.
- Check for obvious damage, discrepancies or missing items.
- Label products and prepare them for their next stage.
- Allocate items to the appropriate department.
- Prioritise incoming work to maintain a smooth flow through the warehouse.
Warehouse Operations
- Move products between warehouse and operational areas.
- Store items securely in their designated locations.
- Assist with internal stock movements and transfers.
- Handle high-value technology carefully and responsibly.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Follow established procedures for handling and storing products.
General Duties
- Work closely with colleagues across Quality Check, Repairs and other departments.
- Flag issues or discrepancies to the appropriate person.
- Meet daily productivity and quality expectations.
- Use computer systems to complete required tasks.
- Support wider warehouse activities when required.
- Carry out other reasonable duties as directed by management.

Desirable Experience
Previous experience isn't essential, as full training will be provided.
Experience in any of the following would be beneficial:
- Warehousing or goods-in
- Stock control
- Logistics
- E-commerce
- Inventory management
- Administration
- Consumer technology
An interest in technology or gaming would be a bonus, but we're primarily looking for someone with the right attitude, work ethic and attention to detail.

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
37.5 hours per week.
