KITCHEN ASSISTANT – JOIN OUR TEAM!
JustGraze21 at Garforth Golf Club is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our growing catering team.
We’re looking for someone who has a genuine interest in food, cooking and presentation, takes pride in what they do and enjoys being part of a friendly, hardworking team.
THE RIGHT PERSON WILL:
- Have a genuine interest in food, cooking and presentation
- Take pride in their work and have good attention to detail
- Be able to multi-task and work well during busy service periods
- Be proactive during quieter periods, spotting jobs that need doing and helping to keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for service
- Be reliable, hardworking and a positive team player
- Be happy to get stuck in and help wherever needed
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is ideal, but full training can be provided for the right person
- Driving is preferred but not essential
THE ROLE:
This is a varied Kitchen Assistant role within our busy golf club catering operation.
You’ll be involved in:
- Food preparation
- Light cooking and plating
- Supporting the chef and kitchen team
- Pot washing and general kitchen duties
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and service-ready
- Helping with events and external catering when required
Hours:
- 16–20 hours per week initially
- Full-time hours available from September for the right person
- Weekend availability is required as part of the rota, alongside weekday shifts
- Rotas are prepared 2 weeks in advance, helping you plan your time
