Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HVAC Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. Responsibilities
- Develop detailed HVAC system designs using AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks to create accurate schematics and layouts.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate HVAC systems into larger building or system projects, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Conduct system analysis and troubleshooting through root cause analysis, debugging, and system testing to optimize performance.
- Utilize programming skills in Python, C, C++, MATLAB, and PLCs to automate controls and enhance system efficiency.
- Perform fabrication planning, maintenance scheduling, and system debugging to ensure operational reliability.
- Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles for precise fabrication and assembly processes.
- Support product development efforts by creating prototypes, conducting simulations, and refining designs based on testing results.
Requirements
- Proven experience with construction projects involving HVAC systems or mechanical engineering disciplines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, CAD software, and schematic creation for detailed system design documentation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical engineering fundamentals related to HVAC controls and systems.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Python scripting, C/C++, MATLAB for automation and control applications.
- Familiarity with systems engineering principles to oversee complex project integrations from concept through implementation.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis, debugging, fabrication planning, and maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of GD&T standards for precise manufacturing specifications; experience with fabrication processes is a plus.
