We are seeking a talented and passionate Dessert Chef to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a wide range of desserts, including pastries, cakes, mousses, and other specialised confections
- Assist in developing new dessert recipes that align with the restaurant’s culinary style
- Ensure all desserts are prepared according to specified recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pastry section in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and place orders as necessary to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate dessert service during busy periods
- Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and food handling procedures at all times
- Innovate with flavours, textures, colours, and presentation techniques to create visually appealing desserts
Experience
- Proven experience in food production, food preparation, or cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong background in culinary arts specialising in baking and dessert creation
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in a commercial kitchen setting
- Familiarity with various baking techniques and presentation styles
- Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced culinary environment is advantageous

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
