Night Support Worker – Complex Care
Location: Wymondham
Hours: Approximately 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week
Please note: Employment visa sponsorship is not available. Applicants must already have the unrestricted Right to Work in the UK at the time of application.
We have an immediate opportunity for a reliable and experienced Support Worker to join an established complex-care package in Wymondham.
Our priority is NIGHT support, with approximately three 12-hour night shifts per week currently available.
This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who specifically prefers regular, longer night shifts and wants to become a consistent member of an established support team.
THE ROLE
You will provide safe, attentive and person-centred support throughout the night, following the individual's agreed care plan, routines, risk assessments and ways of working.
You will need to:
- Provide reliable and consistent support across agreed 12-hour night shifts.
- Remain attentive and professional throughout the shift.
- Follow individual care and support guidance.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with the wider care team.
- Recognise and appropriately escalate concerns.
- Complete all package-specific training and competency assessments required before working independently.
There are also 12-hour day shifts within the service. Night availability is the immediate priority, although candidates who can occasionally provide day or contingency cover would be particularly useful.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for somebody who is:
- Genuinely comfortable working regular night shifts.
- Reliable and consistent.
- Calm and attentive.
- Experienced within health or social care.
- Comfortable working within a complex-care environment.
- Able to follow detailed support guidance.
- Willing to complete all required training and competencies.
All appointments are subject to satisfactory safer recruitment checks, including identity and Right to Work verification, employment history and references, DBS checks and relevant training and competency requirements.
