Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit a HGV Class 2 Drivers to help support clients in the Newport area.
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday.
- No weekends.
Salary:

- Local multidrop deliveries
- Pallet network
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
- Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
- To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
- To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.
Essential Skills:
- Must hold a valid HGV 2/ Cat C licence.
- Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card.
- Must hold a valid Digital tacho card.
- Must have at least 6 months experience!
- ADR qualification is advantageous.
- Good communication skills.
- Good customer relations.
- Have a safe driving record.
- No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations.
- No DR’s, IN’s or DD’s offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
