Drainage Engineer – North Wales
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Drainage Engineer to join our growing drainage division, covering North Wales and surrounding areas.
The role will involve carrying out domestic and commercial drainage work, including:
- Drain unblocking and high-pressure water jetting
- CCTV drain inspections and surveys
- Fault finding and diagnosis of drainage problems
- Root cutting and clearance
- Drain cleaning and maintenance
- Minor drainage repairs and excavation work
- Completing job reports, photographs and paperwork
- Emergency and reactive drainage call-outs
- Looking after and maintaining the company van, jetting equipment and CCTV equipment
What we’re looking for
Previous drainage experience is preferred, particularly experience with jetting and CCTV equipment, although we are happy to consider someone with good practical ability and relevant plumbing, groundworks or maintenance experience who is willing to learn.
You should be:
- Reliable, practical and able to work independently
- Comfortable dealing directly with customers
- Able to diagnose problems and find sensible solutions
- Willing to undertake further training and qualifications
- Able to work as part of a growing multi-trade team
- Prepared to participate in an overtime/call-out rota as the division develops
- Holder of a full UK driving licence
