Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical components using hand tools and power tools with accuracy and attention to detail
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate
- Follow technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions to ensure correct installation procedures
- Use warehouse experience to manage parts inventory, organize tools, and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical problems and implement effective solutions
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and assembly processes clearly and thoroughly
- Assist in the testing of assembled equipment to verify operational performance
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers
- Skilled in operating power tools safely and effectively for assembly and maintenance tasks
- Experience in assembling mechanical systems or machinery within a warehouse or industrial setting
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage parts inventory efficiently
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding logistics and parts handling
