Join our security team as a CCTV Operator/Officer and play a vital role in safeguarding our facilities through vigilant surveillance and proactive monitoring. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for overseeing live camera feeds, detecting suspicious activities, and ensuring a safe environment for staff and visitors alike. Responsibilities
- Monitor multiple CCTV camera feeds continuously to identify potential security threats or irregular activities
- Conduct regular visual inspections of designated areas via surveillance cameras to ensure safety protocols are followed
- Collaborate with security personnel and emergency responders during incidents to coordinate effective responses
- Perform routine checks on surveillance equipment to ensure optimal functionality and report any technical issues
- Assist in conducting security audits and yard checks to support overall site safety initiatives
Requirements
- Must have CCTV License & SIA (Door Supervisor) License.
- Proven experience in surveillance, security operations, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to detect suspicious behavior quickly and accurately
- Excellent report writing skills to document incidents clearly and thoroughly
- Basic knowledge of first aid procedures to respond effectively in emergency situations
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- High level of attentiveness, responsibility, and integrity in handling sensitive information
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and emergency services when required
