Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Builder to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing various construction tasks, including fabrication, assembly, and installation of building components. Your expertise in carpentry and related trades will help us deliver exceptional results on diverse projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship and safety at every stage.
Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install structural and finish carpentry components using hand tools and power tools
- Fabricate custom woodwork, cabinetry, and joinery to specifications
- Perform roofing tasks, including shingle installation and repairs
- Conduct heavy lifting to move materials safely around the construction site
- Assist with construction painting, masonry work, plumbing, electrical tasks, and basic drywall installation as needed
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment during all phases of construction
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met with precision and quality
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry, joinery, or general construction work
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical systems or related trades is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Prior experience in construction painting or finishing work is desirable

Pay: £220.00-£250.00 per day
