Bloxt are seeking a proactive and skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on air conditioning units and related HVAC equipment to ensure peak performance.
- Diagnose and repair faults in air conditioning systems, including compressors, fans, filters, and electrical components.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs and installations.
- Lead maintenance activities, coordinating with team members and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
- Install new air conditioning systems in construction or renovation projects, adhering to safety and building codes.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance work, repairs, parts used, and system performance logs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while working on mechanical systems in various environments.
Requirements
- Proven experience with air conditioning systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC equipment and components.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the capacity to guide junior team members or contractors.
- Construction experience is highly desirable for installation projects.
- Skilled in troubleshooting equipment repair issues efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to HVAC work and building regulations.
- Have Experience in Installation work
