As we enter an exciting new phase of development and refurbishment, we’re looking for a talented Hotel General Manager to lead the next chapter of our story.
Role Summary
We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Hotel General Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, inspire anad lead dedicated team. Your leadership will help shape the guest journey—from a warm welcome to memorable stays and events—while driving operational excellence and profitability.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a people-focused environment, understands the unique character of destination hotels, and is ready to build on our strong foundation. this is not a work life balance position and will require total dedication, a live and breath the hotel.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all hotel operations with a focus on quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
- Inspire, mentor, and manage a diverse team across front-of-house, housekeeping, kitchen, bar, and admin.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance across all areas.
- Drive commercial performance, working with budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support promotions, events, and seasonal campaigns.
- Build strong relationships with guests, local partners, and the wider community.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a General Manager, Operations Manager, or equivalent in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- A natural leader who brings positivity, resilience, and a team-first attitude.
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Commercially savvy with the ability to balance guest satisfaction and business performance.
- Comfortable using technology to manage bookings, operations, and reporting.
- Familiarity with licensing, food safety, and health and safety regulations.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
