Coach Builder – Up to £40,000 – Monday to Friday (Day Shift)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Coach Builder to join our team in Oldham. This is a stable, full‑time position working Monday to Friday on a day shift, ideal for someone with strong fabrication, body repair or vehicle build experience.
You will be involved in the construction, repair and refurbishment of commercial vehicle bodies, including curtain‑siders, box vans, trailers and specialist builds.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach building including fabrication, fitting and assembly
- Body repairs on commercial vehicles and trailers
- Panel work including cutting, shaping and fitting
- Welding & fabrication (steel & aluminium)
- Interior and exterior fitting — floors, frames, panels, doors
- Trailer body work including curtain systems and structural repairs
- Working from technical drawings and build specifications
- Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Coach Builder, Body Builder, Fabricator, or similar
- Strong fabrication and mechanical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confident using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
