Are you passionate about Afro and textured hair? Are you looking to build a long-term career in a professional salon?
Mackim’s Health & Beauty is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking Salon Assistant to join our growing team.
You’ll receive structured training while gaining hands-on experience in:
* Shampooing and blow-drying
* Cornrows and braiding
* Silk press preparation
* Hair treatments
* Client consultations
* Customer care
* Salon organisation and professional standards
Your responsibilities will include:
* Greeting and welcoming clients
* Shampooing and blow-drying
* Preparing workstations
* Assisting stylists during services
* Maintaining a clean and professional salon
* Laundry and towel preparation
* Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the salon
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Passionate about Afro and textured hair
* Friendly, reliable and punctual
* Willing to learn and take constructive feedback
* Hardworking with a positive attitude
* Looking for a long-term career, not just a job
Previous salon experience is an advantage but not essential. We value attitude, commitment and a willingness to learn above everything else.
Salary: Competitive (discussed at interview).
