We’re now looking for a passionate, confident, and experienced Nursery Manager.
Who We’re Looking For
To apply, you must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification and have at least 2 years of management experience within an early years setting.
Responsibilities in this role are:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
- Lead, motivate, and support nursery staff to deliver exceptional childcare and early education services
- Develop and implement engaging activities that promote children’s development
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed and involved in their child’s progress
- Oversee staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe, and conducive to learning at all times
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided
- Confident in managing staff, rotas, and day‑to‑day operations
- Knowledgeable in EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements

Experience
- Proven management or leadership experience within a childcare or nursery setting
- Extensive experience working directly with children in early childhood education or childcare roles
- Strong understanding of childcare regulations, health & safety standards, and best practices in nursery management
- Excellent communication skills in English to liaise with staff, parents, and regulatory bodies effectively
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Valid driving license is preferred for operational flexibility when needed
