About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation within the kitchen, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing dishes, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment.
- Keeping kitchen and food preparation areas clean and tidy.
- Removing rubbish and recycling in accordance with procedures.
- Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Supporting chefs and kitchen staff with basic preparation tasks when required.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Making Desserts
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Understanding of food hygiene standards is an advantage.
