Pharmacy Technician (Full-time or Part-time)
Brayford Medical Practice, Lincoln
Brayford Medical Practice is a well-established, supportive city practice with a stable team and a patient list of approximately 10,800. We are seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician to join us on a permanent basis, with flexibility for full-time or part-time hours.
This is a key role within the practice, focused on safe, efficient medicines management and supporting both clinicians and patients.
The role
- Medicines reconciliation following hospital discharge and clinic letters
- Processing repeat prescriptions and resolving medication queries
- Supporting medication safety, audits, and quality improvement work
- Liaising with community pharmacies, care homes, and secondary care
- Work closely with our in-house pharmacist and team of PCN pharmacists
- Supporting structured medication reviews alongside the clinical team
- Helping to improve prescribing systems and reduce administrative burden
You will work within a clearly defined scope, with support from GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team.

Requirements
Essential
- Qualified Pharmacy Technician (GPhC registered)
- Experience in primary care or medicines management
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously within defined scope
- Good communication skills
Desirable
- Experience with SystmOne
- Primary care network experience
- Audit / QI involvement
