Community Care Worker – Callington
Pay: £14.20 – £14.70 per hour
Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Community Care Workers to join our growing team in Launceston. In this rewarding role, you will support individuals within their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist with daily living tasks such as shopping, cleaning, and community access
- Support mobility using safe moving and handling techniques
- Administer or prompt medication in line with care plans
- Prepare and support with meals to maintain nutritional wellbeing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues
- Promote independence and person-centred care at all times
Requirements
- Previous care experience desirable but not essential
- Understanding of dementia care is advantageous
- A compassionate and professional approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Full UK driving licence required
Pay Structure
- Level 1 Health & Social Care Worker – £14.20/hour | Bank Holiday – £16.20/hour
- Level 2 Health & Social Care Worker – £14.45/hour | Bank Holiday – £16.45/hour
- Level 3 Health & Social Care Worker – £14.70/hour | Bank Holiday – £16.70/hour
