Behind every amazing event is a storage unit full of lights, speakers, bubble machines, snow machines, microphones and enough cables to test anyone's patience... and that's where you come in!
What You'll Be Doing
You'll become the guardian of all things Party Peeps, making sure our kit is organised, maintained, charged and ready to party.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Keeping our storage unit organised, tidy and event-ready.
- Checking and maintaining our lighting, speakers, microphones, bubble machines, snow machines and other equipment.
- Charging batteries, Freedom Sticks and rechargeable equipment.
- Testing equipment and spotting faults before they become problems.
- Carrying out basic repairs and troubleshooting where possible.
- Keeping stock levels topped up (consumables, prizes, tape, batteries, stickers, flyers and more).
- Making sure equipment boxes are complete and packed correctly.
- Recording any issues and reporting anything that needs replacing or repairing.
- Helping us improve how we organise and look after our equipment.
No two weeks are exactly the same—and if you love ticking jobs off a list, keeping things organised and solving practical problems, you'll feel right at home.
We'd Love You To Have
- A practical, hands-on attitude.
- Confidence using tools and fixing things.
- Some technical knowledge (electronics, sound, lighting or general maintenance would be a huge bonus).
- Great organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently without someone looking over your shoulder.
- A proactive mindset—if something needs doing, you just get on with it.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own car (essential), as you'll need to travel to our storage location.
