We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Retail and Salon Assistant to join our team on Saturdays. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for beauty, wellbeing and customer care and would suit a student or someone who is looking to gain valuable experience within a luxury salon and retail environment.
As one of the first people our clients meet, you'll play an important role in creating the warm, personal experience that ener-chi is known for. Whether you're welcoming guests, assisting with retail sales, supporting our therapists or helping the salon run smoothly, every day is varied, rewarding and people-focused.
What You'll Be Doing
- Welcoming every client with a warm, friendly and professional manner.
- Providing exceptional customer service both in person, over the telephone and by email.
- Supporting our reception team with appointments, client enquiries and day-to-day salon administration.
- Assisting clients in choosing natural skincare, wellbeing and lifestyle products, offering thoughtful recommendations where appropriate.
- Creating beautiful retail displays and ensuring our boutique remains clean, organised and inviting.
- Restocking shelves, monitoring stock levels and helping maintain our retail presentation.
- Supporting our therapists by preparing treatment areas, keeping communal spaces immaculate and ensuring clients enjoy a seamless experience throughout their visit.
- Gift wrapping purchases and preparing customer orders with care and attention to detail.
- Helping promote seasonal collections, special offers, events and gift ideas.
- Maintaining the high standards of presentation, cleanliness and professionalism that reflect the ener-chi brand.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is
- Passionate about beauty, holistic wellbeing and natural skincare.
- Friendly, approachable and genuinely enjoys looking after people.
- Confident communicating with clients of all ages.
- Well presented, professional and positive.
- Organised, reliable and able to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Eager to learn about premium skincare, wellbeing products and luxury customer service.
- A team player who enjoys supporting others.
- Comfortable using computers and willing to learn our booking and retail systems.
Experience
Previous experience in retail, hospitality or customer service would be an advantage, but it's certainly not essential. We're much more interested in finding someone with a positive attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Full training will be provided.
