Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver and warehouse worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for packing, transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires excellent driving skills, organisational abilities, and strong communication to provide exceptional service to our customers. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. In time, the successful candidate will be expected to operate the invoicing computer system, taking payments and inputting customer orders
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures.
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery times and any potential issues.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within commercial driving environments.
- Valid driver’s licence
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
HOURS
Sunday 9am - 4pm
Monday 4am - 2pm
Wednesday 9am - 6pm
Thursday 4am - 2pm
EVERY OTHER Saturday 9am - 12pm (will be after training provided)
Pay: £13.00 per hour
