Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and company policies.
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver drinks promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws.
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits.
- Follow food safety standards diligently to ensure hygiene and safety compliance at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or as a bartender is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations relevant to the beverage service industry.
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for specific procedures.
- Effective time management to prioritise tasks during peak hours while maintaining quality service standards.
- Friendly personality with excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse clientele including <PERSON>.
