Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food services. The ideal candidate will assist with meal and food preparation, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, and ensure food safety standards are upheld. Duties
- Assist with meal preparation and food presentation in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Support the cooking process by preparing ingredients and basic dishes under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Help with serving food to customers or guests as required
- Assist in stock rotation, inventory checks, and restocking supplies
- Support the team during catering events or large-scale meal services as needed and assist with team lunch break cover
Requirements
- Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Basic cooking and meal preparation skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to different tasks within the kitchen setting

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
