Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate dog Groomer to join our team. As a dog Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services to a variety of dogs, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, and nail trims for dogs.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of dogs during the grooming process
- Assess the condition of dogs' coats, skin, and overall health
- Communicate with dog owners to understand their specific grooming requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area
- Monitor dogs for any signs of distress or health issues during the grooming process
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing dog owners' questions and concerns
Experience
- Proven experience as a professional dog groomer or in a similar role within pet grooming services
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Strong animal handling skills and ability to work with dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with dog owners
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high grooming standards
- Familiarity with basic veterinary care is a plus.
- Previous veterinary experience or background in animal care is highly desirable
- Physical capability for heavy lifting when handling larger dogs or equipment
- Strong animal handling skills and ability to work with dogs of all sizes and temperaments
Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
