Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dog Daycare Manager to oversee daily operations at our vibrant Doggy daycare facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare, delivering exceptional customer service, and managing a team of staff. This role offers an engaging environment where passion for animals and leadership skills are essential to create a safe, fun, and organised space for dogs and their owners. The Dog Daycare Manager will play a vital role in maintaining the reputation of our centre as a trusted provider of quality pet care.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the dog daycare, ensuring smooth and efficient running of activities.
- Oversee and coordinate staff schedules, providing training and support to team members.
- Ensure all dogs are cared for according to established health and safety protocols, including recognising signs of distress or illness.
- Manage client relationships, addressing enquiries, booking appointments, and providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain organisation of the facility, including cleaning routines, safety checks, and equipment maintenance.
- Handle administrative tasks such as record keeping, booking management, and invoicing.
- Assist with behavioural assessments and implement enrichment activities to promote positive socialisation among dogs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in animal handling is highly desirable.
- Strong background in animal care with a genuine passion for working with dogs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage a team efficiently whilst maintaining a positive working environment.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., lifting supplies or assisting with dog handling).
- Organised with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous management experience within a pet care setting is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £26,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
