Wye School, opened in September 2013, is an all-ability, co-educational school serving up to 600 students aged 11 to 19. We are currently looking to appoint a new Student Support Assistant to join the team. The role is suitable for candidates with experience of working with children to assist in promoting children’s learning and personal development, enabling each child to make the best use of the educational opportunities available to them.
You will have experience in establishing supportive relationships with students and in promoting the inclusion of students with SEN. Alongside this, you will be confident in supporting and monitoring children’s learning and, where appropriate, modifying or adapting activities as agreed with the teacher to achieve the intended learning outcomes.
You will have experience in forming and maintaining appropriate professional relationships with students and adults working in the school and demonstrate the ability to be an effective team member, modelling commitment to student learning.
