Available Opportunities
Gymnastics Afterschool Club Teacher
Location: Hammersmith, W12
Day: Monday
Time: 3:30pm – 4:30pm
Contract: 14 September – 7 December 2026
Children: KS2 (ages 8–11)
Pay: £40 per hour
Lead fun and engaging gymnastics sessions for primary-aged children. Sessions typically include deep stretching and basic gymnastics skills such as bridges, rollovers and cartwheel preparation. Children may also work on pair exercises and build a simple routine combining the skills they have learned.
Sessions are primarily mat-based and may include fun music and elements of dance. Teachers are welcome to structure the sessions according to their own experience and teaching style.
Ballet Afterschool Club Teacher
Location: Walthamstow, E17
Day: Friday
Time: 3:30pm – 4:30pm
Contract: 18 September – 11 December 2026
Children: Reception–Year 4 (ages 4–9)
Pay: £35 per hour
Deliver fun, engaging and age-appropriate ballet sessions for young children. The successful teacher should be able to introduce children to ballet fundamentals while developing their coordination, musicality, confidence and enjoyment of movement.
Happy Yoga Afterschool Club Teacher
Location: Clapton, E5
Day: Friday
Time: 2:30pm – 3:30pm
Contract: 18 September – 11 December 2026
Children: KS1 (ages 6–7)
Pay: £35 per hour
Lead enjoyable and child-friendly yoga sessions designed for young children. Sessions can introduce simple yoga poses, stretching, movement, breathing and mindfulness through fun and accessible activities.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging weekly afterschool club sessions.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Inspire children to develop confidence, physical skills, coordination and creativity.
- Adapt activities to suit different ages and abilities.
- Manage behaviour positively in line with school expectations.
- Ensure children's wellbeing and safety throughout each session.
- Arrive on time and be fully prepared for every session.
- Maintain a fun, encouraging and professional atmosphere throughout the club.
Essential Requirements
- Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Experience teaching or leading activities for primary-aged children.
- Relevant experience in gymnastics, ballet, yoga, dance, PE, movement or children's physical activities.
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and engaging teaching style.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Reliable, professional, and able to commit for the full Autumn Term.
Desirable Skills
- Experience delivering extracurricular or afterschool clubs.
- Relevant teaching or coaching qualifications.
- Professional performance or coaching experience.
- Experience working with children with different abilities and needs.
- First Aid or Safeguarding training.

- One-hour sessions during term time only.
