Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently maintained throughout all food and beverage preparation processes.
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide friendly service to enhance the customer experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and manage customer payments efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold a safe working environment for staff and customers.
- Assist with food preparation tasks when required, supporting the overall operation of the shop.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar serving role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous.
- Ability to serve customers courteously while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and cleanliness.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
