We're currently working with a well-established business within the highways and infrastructure sector that is looking to add an experienced Fleet Mechanic to its workshop team in Chelmsford.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled mechanic with experience working on LCV-sized commercial vehicles to join a professional and supportive workshop environment.
The Role
- Service, maintain and repair a fleet of LCV-sized commercial vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out effective repairs.
- Complete routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained to high safety and compliance standards.
- Work as part of a busy, professional workshop team.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
About You
- Previous experience working on LCVs or similar commercial vehicles.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic knowledge.
- Able to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- A reliable team player with a proactive approach.
