The Star Inn is a family-run pub located in the heart of Pershore, overlooking the river with a beautiful garden and a welcoming atmosphere. We pride ourselves on serving traditional Italian cuisine, including homemade stone-baked pizzas, alongside a menu of quality pub favourites.
We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Chef to join our growing kitchen team and help take our food offering to the next level. Working alongside our talented Head Chef, you’ll play an important role in maintaining high standards, developing new ideas and delivering consistently excellent food for our guests.

The Role
- Preparing and cooking dishes to a high standard
- Assisting with menu development and daily specials
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Supporting stock control and reducing waste
- Working collaboratively within a small, efficient kitchen team
- Helping drive standards and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen
- Passion for fresh food and quality ingredients
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Team player who enjoys contributing ideas
- Experience with Italian cuisine or pizza preparation is desirable but not essential

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
