We have an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Technician - Factory and Rig Systems to join our Electronics Support Group.
Reporting to the Senior Electronics Support Engineer this factory-based role will be responsible for the installing, maintaining and the parts logistics of electronics looms and components to ensure the rigs and dynos continue to operate reliably from an electronics perspective.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Install electronics installations as per the electronics installation guides for each dyno and rig and provide feedback on any issues via the appropriate communication channels, including raising fault reports.
- Assist supporting the electronics commissioning and first build of new electronics installations.
- Monitor the health and performance of the electronics installations, as well as proactively regularly inspecting the electronics installations for damage or signs of wear.
- Generate servicing reports for the electronics components fitted on the dynos and rigs, and action the required follow-up work.
- Ensure that the booking of electronics components on the company parts management systems are kept up to date and accurate.
- Proactively help manage spares levels of electronics components to ensure operational readiness and reliability.
- Assist in electronics fault investigations to establish the root cause of issues, including recovery of parts to be repaired or replaced.
- Provide feedback and input into improving dyno and rigs electronics installations.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong understanding of electrical and electronic installation practices, including MIL-spec wiring, sensor technologies.
- Demonstrate ability to investigate, diagnose and resolve sensor or wiring related issues using a methodical and analytical approach.
- Ideally has proven experience working within Formula 1 or a high-level motorsport related team or company.
- Can monitor and maintain a clean and tidy working environment, working within the groups COSHH guidelines and ensuring that all relevant Health and Safety requirements are met.
- Ensure that companywide policies and procedures are adhered to wherever and whenever appropriate.
- Provide flexible attendance and attitude to work, both in line with the requirements of the role and any specific requirements of your line and departmental management.
Work in a professional manner at all times regardless of the task set and be pro-active in promoting a positive image for the department.
