AIMEscape is looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic, and engaging individual to join our team as a Game Master at our venue near Aldgate East.

AIMEscape is an immersive escape room, operating several indoor and outdoor experiences. We pride ourselves on providing the best customer experience in the industry and high-quality game design. We are very dedicated to bringing joy and a genuinely good time to our players.
This Role:
As a game master, your main responsibility is facilitating various games and making sure everything runs smoothly. You will be confident in communicating with our teams and making sure our players have the time of their life. When not running games, you will also help out with basic admin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening and closing the venue
- Staging and setting up rooms
- Meet and greet customers upon arrival
- Provide introduction, rules, and story of each game
- Communicate with players through walkie-talkies
- Monitor games and provide hints and tips when needed
- Cheer for teams and take photos
- Admin, competent with customer service via emails and phone calls
Qualifications
- Previous game master experience
- Customer service experience
- Acting or performing experience (preferred but not essential)
- Time management and the ability to multi-task
- Interest in logic-related puzzles
- Positive attitude, easily approachable
- Fluent verbal and written English
Important to note:
- Work pattern: 5 x 8-hour shifts per week OR 4 x 10-hour shifts (including breaks)
- All applicants need to be able to work weekends and evenings, as these are our busiest times
- All applicants must be able to commute to a 9am start or from a midnight finish
- Shifts will vary week to week, depending on bookings
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £26,500.00 per year
