We are a leading disaster restoration company, based in Dalkeith, delivering fire, flood and property repair services.
We are looking for a full time, permanent member of staff with a strong work ethic and customer focus. Working hours are 40 hours per week with opportunities to work additional overtime hours.
Experience in the industry is beneficial but not essential as job specific training will be given based on the successful candidates needs.
This is a varied role however main roles and responsibilities are to :
- Clean and decontaminate properties after flood or fire damage.
- Cleaning of household contents.
- Strip out of damaged building materials.
- Setting up of drying equipment.
- Packing and handling of home contents.
- Various other types of cleaning and restoration.
- Liaise and communicate with clients, colleagues and company managers.
The successful applicant of this position will be required to carry out occasional evening and weekend work to meet the needs of the business.
Key skill requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence - minimum of 5 years.
- Good communication and literacy skills.
- Strong work ethic with a desire to meet our customers high expectations.
- Team player but also able to work alone.
- Be able to use laptop/tablet to carry out day to day work including reporting on the work you have carried out each day.

Starting salary of £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. With overtime, it is possible to earn up to 45k pa.
