Sanctuary Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist to join a dynamic healthcare service in Wrexham.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled MSK Physiotherapist, Physiotherapist Band 6, or Musculoskeletal Rehab Specialist seeking a locum role within a supportive and patient-focused clinical environment.
Role Overview
You will provide high-quality assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients presenting with musculoskeletal conditions. The role involves working with a varied caseload, supporting recovery, improving mobility, and promoting functional independence through evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with MSK conditions
- Develop and deliver individualised treatment and rehabilitation programmes
- Manage a varied outpatient caseload
- Provide advice on injury prevention, exercise, and self-management
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including consultants, nurses, and other allied health professionals
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional standards
- Support discharge planning and onward referrals where required
- Promote best practice and evidence-based physiotherapy care
Requirements
Essential:
- HCPC registered Physiotherapist
- Minimum Band 6 level experience within MSK physiotherapy
- Strong clinical knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions and rehabilitation
- Ability to manage a varied and busy caseload independently
- Excellent communication and patient engagement skills
- Full UK driving licence may be required depending on service needs
Desirable:
- Experience within NHS outpatient MSK services
- Additional training in rehabilitation techniques or manual therapy
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
