Summary
We are seeking a Yard Operative for our Events & Marquee Hire team. This role is vital in supporting the delivery and installation of our marquee structures and event furnitre, ensuring smooth operations that uphold our company's reputation for excellence. Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of marquee equipment and structures.
- Prepare and maintain the yard to ensure all assets are organized and accessible.
- Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to during all yard activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of all equipment.
- Deliver and set up event equipment and furniture on site.
- Contribute to a positive team environment focused on exceptional customer service.
- Qualifications
- Full clean driving licence, van driving and 7.5t licence advantageous.
- Previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Good physical fitness and ability to handle manual tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to yard operations.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle operation is advantageous.
- Flexibility to support occasional weekend or evening work if required.
