Position: Hygiene Operative (Food)
Location: Chichester
Salary: £34,380.23 Per Annum
Shift: 14.00 - 22.00 Monday - Thursday, 12.00-18.00 Friday
Rate of pay reflects night shift premium, the role will return to night shift at the end of 2026 . Normal working hours are Monday - Thursday 22.00 - 06.00, 18.00 - 00.00 Friday.

We are looking for a Hygiene Operative with a positive can-do approach, a willingness to learn and motivation to help us get the best out of everyday.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person, who can work as part of a team, accurately and at speed in a busy environment.
What will you be doing?
- Adhere to all Company policies, procedures and codes of practice.
- Adhere to the sites personal hygiene standards and practices particularly those concerning workwear and personal protective equipment.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and housekeeping.
- Carrying out scheduled daily cleaning task, cleaning process equipment to required standard, deep cleaning/ post cleaning checks, ensuring all paper work is correctly completed.
- Have an understanding of HACCP principles and the company’s HACCP plan.
- Be able to follow instructions, procedures and complete paperwork as required
- Be able to communicate effectively with the rest of the team
- Be motivated to learn new skills
- Be comfortable working in a wide and varied team
Requirements
- Good Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience of working in a food production environment
- Minimum one year experience of working in a similar role as a Hygiene Operative
