We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Piano & Guitar Tutor to join our music education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, personalised instruction to students of various ages and skill levels. Duties
- Deliver engaging and tailored piano and guitar lessons to students, adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and needs
- Develop customised lesson plans that promote musical growth and technical proficiency
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback
- Prepare students for exams
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and enjoyment of music
- Work with children and students with special educational needs, ensuring inclusive teaching practices
- Maintain accurate records of lessons, attendance, and student achievements
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and upcoming events
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching piano and guitar, with a strong understanding of music theory and performance techniques
- Experience working with children and young learners, including those with special educational needs
- Excellent communication skills to effectively motivate and engage students of all ages
- Patience, organisation, and the ability to adapt lessons to individual student requirements
- Relevant qualifications in music or teaching are preferred but not essential if accompanied by demonstrable experience
- A genuine passion for music education and inspiring others to develop their musical talents
Pay: £16.00 per hour
