Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plasterer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying plaster to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring smooth, durable finishes that meet high-quality standards. Your expertise will contribute to creating aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound walls, ceilings, and other architectural features. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal plaster adhesion
- Mix plaster materials accurately using hand tools and power tools to achieve the desired consistency
- Apply plaster with trowels, hawks, or sprayers, ensuring even coverage and smooth finishes on walls, ceilings, and decorative featuresy
- Repair damaged surfaces by removing old plaster and reapplying new layers with precision
- Operate various power tools such as mixers, drills, and saws safely and efficiently during the plastering process
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all tasks
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly
Experience
- Proven experience as a plasterer or in related masonry or drywall finishing roles
- Skilled in using hand tools such as trowels, floats, and putty knives effectively
- Experience operating power tools including mixers, drills, saws, and pneumatic tools safely
